Ausable Chasm

 

This is the beginning of the Ausable Chasm on the Ausable River in New York. Looking upriver a bit, one can see Rainbow Falls in the pictures below. There's far more to this particular tourist spot, but because I had Lexie with me, I decided not to go on the trails since dogs are not allowed. There were still plenty of thrills to see on the publicly accessible portion of the property.
