Jonesboro

 

Jonesboro is a small city next door to a larger city, Anna, in southern Illinois. I had no intention of stopping here, but at the Casey's gas station at 100 Willards Ferry Road (SR 146) where Willards Ferry Rd. meets Broad Street and Cook Avenue, there is a property across the street that has an almost unbelievable playhouse being built by a couple for their grandchildren. The picture above is the gazebo this same couple built in their backyard. Once these caught my eye, I couldn't resist going across the street to get better pictures.
