A favorite location is Roan Mountain State Park in Tennessee, and today's pictures come from the Miller Farmstead specifically (actually a ridge above where the house stands). It was a rainy day when these pics were taken, and I quite literally just beat the rain as it started pouring as soon as I returned to the van. It's usually rather quiet up here, and nobody else was here the day I visited.
