Amicalola Falls State Park

 

Amicalola Falls State Park was featured here before, but I had never stayed at the campground here before. As can be seen in the first post, this park is absolutely gorgeous. For anyone who likes waterfalls, the park is perfect and one can find plenty to do to keep themselves busy centering on the falls. Besides the falls (729 feet high!), the park also has a number of trails and other outdoor entertainment (zipline, anyone?). This is a smaller campground (24 sites) and there isn't a whole lot of privacy as these pictures show, but we still had a good time here.
