Ludington

Ludington sits at the terminus of US 10 on the east side of Lake Michigan. Unlike Manistee (25 miles north) the afternoon before, the beach here was relatively bare and rather quiet. As I was taking pictures at the lighthouse, the US 10 Ferry (SS Badger) was getting ready to take off to travel to Manitowoc on the opposite side of the lake. The ferry and lighthouse were the two main attractions, and the pumped hydro storage facility was another attraction I was interested in seeing.
