Paris Mountain State Park is located in Greenville, South Carolina and has plenty of trails among other forms of recreation. It was fairly busy, with lots of traffic, which was to be expected being located inside a city. It is a beautiful park, although the reason I generally like many state parks is for their distance from most large cities. I treasure areas away from the noise and pollution of industrial civilization. This place combines the convenience of a large city with a sense of privacy and the sounds of nature. This facility and the surrounding forest was changed forever from the effects of Hurricane Helene in 2024.
