Eagle Rock, aka Eagle Bluff, is a beautiful park and overlook above Jacksboro, Tennessee. It has a nice little picnic shelter, a trail, and the overlook itself. The drive up to it from Jacksboro along Eagle Bluff and Eagle Rock Roads is very steep with sudden drop-offs to the side facing Jacksboro and the upper portion of it is gravel with some pretty deep ruts from water erosion. I highly recommend getting there from the north side of it instead, accessing it from Royal Blue (Exit 141 on I-75) on Luther Seiber Blvd. and Eagle Rock Road. This route is much less steep, far fewer deep ruts (if any), no sudden drop-offs, and much easier on one's nerves. The only downside is that there aren't really any views of Jacksboro until you get to the overlook. You'll know you are there when you see the picnic shelter and entrance (first three pictures).
