#ProjectAlaska: Casper Mountain

Continuing on my journey, I began heading east finally after making mostly a southern trek over the past week or so. I was beginning to feel a bit sad that my five week journey was coming to an end. Still, I knew that it wasn't over yet and that I still had a few days of fun and exploring left. My next big adventure was at Casper Mountain and getting up there was a somewhat arduous task; avoiding potholes and deep ruts in a mud and gravel road up the back side of the mountain. Luckily the road was dry. OK, perhaps it would have been much worse had it been wet; but the dusty conditions didn't seem much better. Once I arrived at the park at the top, I was pleasurably satisfied that the drive up was well worth it.

Going down into Casper was a real treat from on top of the mountain.
