Spring can be a dynamic time in Indiana. On this mid-March day in 2024 I decided to take a trip to see an ACRES site known as the Seven Pillars of the Mississinewa. March can be unusually cold or unusually warm; this day was nice and warm, and a perfect day for a trip to a location about an hour and a half away. Plenty of interesting sites in addition to the main attraction also caught my eye along the way. The Mississinewa River was in flood at the time from upstream releases from USACE at the Mississinewa Reservoir a couple miles away, as can be seen in the pictures.
